PAAWS is an animal rescue that does not have a shelter. All of our animals live in volunteer foster homes until placement, so space is always limited. If you are surrendering an animal whether adopted from PAAWS or not, we cannot guarantee space in a volunteer's home. PAAWS will work with you the best we can. We do take in owner surrenders if the owner or person surrendering the animal is in a position to maintain possession of the animal while we work to find a new and suitable home for the pet's needs. If you are in need of help, please fill out the surrender form; we do reserve the right to deny a surrender for any reason.
