PAAWS is an animal rescue that does not have a shelter. All of our animals live in volunteer foster homes until placement so space is always limited. If you are surrendering an animal whether adopted from PAAWS or not, we cannot guarantee space in a volunteers home. PAAWS will work with you the best we can.
We do take in owner surrenders if the owner or person surrendering the animal is in a position to maintain possession of the animal while we work to find a new and suitable home for the pet's needs.
If you are in need of help, please fill out the surrender form; we do reserve the right to deny a surrender for any reason.
We do not have a 'surrender fee', however, we do accept and appreciate donations whether they be monetary or supply donations that will help care for the animal being surrendered. After the surrender form has been received you will be contacted within 3 days if we can work to rehome the animal.
